24th Annual Mushroom Festival
a fun packed, two-day event in historic Kennett Square, Pennsylvania on Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13, 2009.  Celebrate the mushroom as well as the beauty, history and excitement of Southern Chester County with music, children’s rides and a variety of entertainment.
$2 Admission for 12 yrs. and older.



Taste the Best Mushroom Soups & Wine in the Brandywine Valley
on Sunday. Relax with your friends, eat, drink and be merry while listening to live music.
 

 
Cooking Demonstrations
Visitors can learn to cook and care for mushrooms with the pros. Cooking demonstrations take place Saturday and Sunday during the Festival. And, don't miss the Fresh Mushroom Soup Cook-off Contest on Saturday.
 

Farm Tours
Buses will leave downtown regularly to take visitors to a local mushroom farm for a guided tour of an actual mushroom farm. Experience the entire growing process first hand at facilities not normally open to the public.
