2008 Mushroom Festival Grant Application Form

MUSHROOM FESTIVAL’S SUCCESS TO BE SHARED WITH LOCAL CHARITIES

The 2007 Mushroom Festival was a huge success this year, drawing over 110,000 visitors to downtown Kennett Square over a 2-day period. The Festival’s Board of Directors has voted to share the proceeds with local charities again this year. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Easter Seals and the Coalition for Prostate Awareness. The remainder will be used to support local charities.

Local charities are encouraged to submit a brief grant proposal for support. All proposals must be submitted on the Mushroom Festival Grant Application Form and be postmarked no later than February 15, 2008. The Mushroom Festival Grant Application Form is available by calling 1-610-444-8484 or by e-mail to klaff19757@aol.com. Guidelines for grant submission are included with the application form.

Mushroom Festival Board members are thrilled that the proceeds of this event will stay in the Kennett community, helping Kennett area residents. The board members thank the many sponsors and Festival attendees for their participation and support.

Any charity with a 501(c)(3) IRS classification can apply for a small grant from the Mushroom Festival. Completed Mushroom Festival Grant Application Form with supporting documentation, must be postmarked no later than February 15, 2008.
