With a few years of schooling in Commercial Art and even more years
experience in the sign business, my husband and I opened Grizzly
Graphics, LLC. full time in 1992. We met at a sign shop right after
high school where I did layouts and silk screen printing. I have
always been creative in one form or another and this business allows
me to explore my creative side. In order to come up with this simple
design, I researched photographs of mushrooms to get a feel of
shapes and color, not wanting to get too complicated. In keeping the
design simple, it then can be used for a variety of media usage.
Simplicity can lead into versatility and memorable design. I have
entered other contests and have done well, winning several 1st
places, adding to the enjoyment of designing contests such as this.
My designs are a labor of love and enjoyment for many people. It was
a lot of fun coming up with the annual design for the festival.
